Microsoft Lync 2010 for iPhone App Reviews

The latest update on June 8th 2012 has broken push notifications. With out push this app is useless. Come on MS get it fixed!!!

We had push notifications working but this update broke it. The least you should do is remove it from the app store and offer the previous version Phil

The latest update broke the notifications while the app runs in the background.

Works ok for some things. Id like to see better push notifications and Id like the conversations to sync between my computer and my phone. Also swipe to delete messages would be nice

It does the job but it always cuts out. 40% of messages fail. Long loading times, typical Microsoft half assed product

This is a nice clean app. I would like some syncing with all my desktops. Also update for iPhone 5 screen size. Could be a great app!

Slow to update. Kills battery. No voice component. Junk

It sometimes misses parts of a conversation. Pretty annoying when you know someone replied to you, but you cant see what they said.

Not working with the Lync Server at work. We know we can log into the server from remote machines and its perfectly fine, yet it doesnt want to log in from this app. We tried and tried with no results. I hope there will be some kind of fix/update... Lync 2013? Would be nice to have this working.

The following options are still not being saved: Pinned Contacts -> Off Photos -> Off Get your stuff together, folks. This is not rocket science.

Like anything made by Microsoft, not made for running on Microsofts platform, this feels like a project given to its worst team. Its ugly, buggy, not friendly for iPhone use, outdated, unreliable, plain garbage. The app is free, but not the service, I feel shortchanged.

Nothing terrible about this app.. But nothing very good either. Forgettable.

Time to update the app for the iPhone 5 screen. The 2013 app has it and this one should too as not all of us have 2013 server.

No scaling for iPhone 5. So, typing become a nightmare (specially the space bar). Using telephony is not reliable. Cant manage contact list. Microsoft can do better than that.

Unstable and no iPhone 5 screen support

It works but does not fit iPhone 5 screen which is really problematic when you type.

After repeatedly turning off Notification Center, Lync keeps setting itself back to show messages in lock screen. This can reveal confidential information to unauthorized viewing of a locked iPhone.

This would be an awesome app if it actually worked properly!! Please fix
